                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSING OF SOUTH CREST ROAD, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   AUGUST 14, 1993, FROM 6:00 A.M. UNTIL 10:30
                   A.M. FOR THE MISSIONARY RIDGE ROAD RACE
                   SPONSORED BY THE CHATTANOOGA TRACK CLUB AND
                   THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of South Crest Road from Firehall No. 11 to 
East
       Crest Road (south leg) on Saturday, August 14, 1993 from 6:00 
a.m.
       until 10:30 a.m. for the presentation of the Missionary Ridge 
Road
       Race under the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Track Club and the
       American Red Cross.  The sponsors are responsible for the
       installation and removal of all traffic control devices (such as
       cones, barricades, signs, etc.) in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide at all times an
       access lane for emergency and residential vehicles.
